⚠️ CHATGPT GLITCHES AS OUTAGE HITS USERS WORLDWIDE. OpenAI’s chatbot, API, and Sora services experienced a “partial outage” Tuesday, with users reporting long wait times, error messages, and total service dropouts.
—> 🧠 “TOO MANY REQUESTS”: The issue spiked over 1,700 outage reports on Downdetector. Users got error screens or nothing at all — and took to social media to vent. OpenAI says they’ve found the root cause and are “working as fast as possible” to fix it.
—> 💸 TIMING IS EVERYTHING: The outage comes just days after OpenAI touted its new advanced voice upgrade — and reported it had hit $10 billion in annual revenue. But even billion-dollar bots can crash under pressure.

Scientists from the SETI Institute — best known for searching the skies for signs of alien life — are now studying whales to decode intelligent communication here on Earth. Their latest find? Humpback whales may be playfully blowing bubble rings to interact with humans.

They fed this data into machine learning models originally designed to scan cosmic radio waves for alien signals.
