mtf.tv's mtf NOW: Brain interface... Kev's new show 'HELLO FUTURE...'
🚀 mtf.tv is teaming up with iHeartMedia’s Premiere Networks — home of The Breakfast Club, Ryan Seacrest, Mario Lopez, Glenn Beck & more — to launch a brand-new daily show.
✨ HELLO FUTURE with Kevin Cirilli drops Monday–Friday here.
🛸🚀 EXCLUSIVE: HARVARD’S AVI LOEB PUSHES BACK: “WE CAN’T RULE OUT ALIEN TECH” — On my latest episode of HELLO FUTURE with Kevin Cirilli for iHeartMedia, I sat down with Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb to talk about the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS. NASA says it’s just a comet. Loeb? He says not so fast.
—> 🪐 THE BIG QUOTE: Me: So you’re saying that there’s not enough information to disprove that it’s not alien technology. Loeb: Correct.

—> 🔭 WHY IT MATTERS: 3I/ATLAS is a Manhattan-sized interstellar object — only the third of its kind ever spotted, after ‘Oumuamua (2017) and 2I/Borisov (2019). Loeb argues its unusual size, chemistry, and path mean science hasn’t really ruled out the alien tech hypothesis. He even introduced a new “Loeb Scale” to judge whether interstellar objects could be natural… or not.
—> 🌌 THE FUTURE: Whether 3I/ATLAS is just ice and rock or something stranger, Loeb says the real issue is humanity isn’t prepared for the discoveries our new telescopes will keep making. If alien technology is out there, we’d better have the courage to ask the big questions.

hello, future. it’s me, kev.
and my new show is called HELLO FUTURE for iHeart Media.
…and this is a dispatch from the digital frontier. It’s time to meet the future NOW — with the latest on markets, tech, and freedom. The day is 273. The year is 2025. The planet is Earth.
Subscribe to my YouTube channel here. THANK YOU. (Give me a few weeks to launch iHeart… then I’ll return, etc.).
The planet has complete 74.8 percent of its orbit around the Sun. My name is Kevin Cirilli —> LinkedIn. Spotify. Sign-up to receive the future in your inbox here.

SPACE
🌕⛏️ CUT THE DEFICIT? MINE THE MOON! — Companies are eyeing the Moon’s dirt for something called helium-3 (He-3), a super-rare gas that could one day power fusion energy or quantum computers. At $20 million a kilogram, it’s basically moon dust worth more than gold.
—> 🧪 MINI MOON REFRESHER: The Moon’s surface has been blasted for billions of years by the solar wind, which left tiny bits of helium-3 trapped in its soil. Meteorite hits stirred it deeper down. If we scoop it up, it could fuel future tech — and maybe even help balance the budget back on Earth.
—> 🚀 HOW CLOSE ARE WE? Not very close yet. Mining asteroids or the Moon is still super expensive and tricky — machines clog with dust, and finding helium-3 isn’t easy. But companies like Interlune are already building giant robot diggers to get ready. The next “gold rush” might not be in California… it could be on the Moon.

☀️🤖 CHINA WANTS TO BUILD A SUN… WITH ROBOTS — China just tested a giant robotic system designed to maintain its fusion reactors — machines often called “artificial suns” because they mimic the way the real sun makes energy. The new platform features three robotic arms, including one that can lift 60 tons (that’s 10 elephants!) with millimeter precision. It’s the most advanced system of its kind and a step toward turning fusion into a real power source.
—> 🔧 WHY ROBOTS? Fusion reactors create extreme conditions: scorching plasma, intense radiation, and magnetic fields so strong no human could survive inside. That means robots must handle all the heavy lifting, repairs, and upgrades. China’s system proved it could move huge pieces with pinpoint accuracy — exactly what’s needed to keep a fusion reactor running.
—> ☀️ THE ARTIFICIAL SUN RACE: This new tech supports China’s EAST reactor in Hefei, which broke a world record earlier this year by keeping plasma burning for 1,066 seconds — the longest ever. Fusion reactors like EAST promise near-limitless clean energy with little waste, but they’re still experimental. Robotic breakthroughs like this one bring the dream of fusion power — and maybe beating the U.S. and Europe to it — a little closer.

🧠💻 TECH TITANS WANT TO PLUG INTO YOUR BRAIN — Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and other tech titans are betting big on brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). They see BCIs as the next frontier—turning thoughts into commands for machines—and maybe the ultimate gateway to the future of computing.
—> ⚡ WHAT’S A BCI? Think of it as a bridge between your brain and a computer. Electrodes pick up signals from your neurons and translate them into actions, like moving a cursor or typing without fingers. Today, it’s mostly helping patients regain abilities—but billionaires dream of everyone using it one day.
—> 🚀 WHO’S IN THE GAME? Musk’s Neuralink has implanted five patients so far, including one who can browse the internet with his thoughts. Altman co-founded Merge Labs, aiming at non-invasive BCIs. Bryan Johnson’s Kernel and Peter Thiel’s fund are also betting millions. Each wants to own the “neural on-ramp” to digital life.
—> 🌍 WHY IT MATTERS: BCIs could restore speech, vision, or mobility—and maybe become the next big tech platform after smartphones and AI. But experts warn: progress is slow, devices aren’t “mind readers,” and billionaire hype risks concentrating too much power over something as intimate as human thought.
