mtf.tv's mtf NOW: 🧠 Super Agers... 🚨 Quantum wars... Time mirrors exist in our brains...

💪 THE SCIENCE OF SUPER-AGERS: What do Harvard and the New York Post have in common today? They’re studying SUPER AGERS — people over 80 with the memory of someone 30 years younger. It’s not all genes or luck. The secret? Lifestyle.

—> 🧠 BRAIN POWER THAT DEFIES AGE: Super-agers’ brains shrink slower than average. They have bigger memory centers and stronger mental agility—even when dementia markers are present.

—> 💃 MOVE OR LOSE IT: The #1 thing tied to better aging? Exercise. Not just walks—strength training. Building muscle boosts memory, protects bones, and fights insomnia. Just 30-60 minutes a week lowers death risk by up to 20%.

—> 🧬 IT’S NOT JUST GENES: Super-agers flex their brains with reading, socializing, and learning new skills. They also sleep well, stay connected, and bounce back from stress. Women are more likely to reach super-ager status, partly thanks to longevity—and cognitive reserve.

🧓 The oldest verified human? Jeanne Calment, who lived to 122. She ate chocolate daily, rode a bike at 100, and only quit smoking at 117. Coincidence? Maybe.

CRYPTO

🧠🚨 CRYPTO KIDNAP SHOCKER: A crypto investor in NYC has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and torturing a man for weeks in a Manhattan townhouse—beating him and demanding his Bitcoin password.

—> THE PLOT: Prosecutors say John Woeltz, 37, held the victim captive since May 6. The man escaped and flagged down a traffic cop.

—> THE MOTIVE: Bitcoin. Police say Woeltz threatened the victim’s family to get access to his digital wallet.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 QUANTUM WARS: THE FUTURE IS HERE: The Defense Intelligence Agency’s 2025 report just sounded the alarm: quantum tech is no longer sci-fi—it’s battlefield-ready. China and Russia are arming up with quantum gadgets, and the U.S. is scrambling to keep up in this shadowy tech race.

—> AI VS. QUANTUM: WHAT’S THE DEAL? AI is a brainy computer crunching data to outsmart enemies. Quantum tech? It’s like a machine from the future, using weird particle tricks to sense, hide, or crack secrets. Mix them, and you’ve got a weapon that could rewrite the rules of war.

—> SNEAKY QUANTUM TOOLS: Quantum sensors don’t need GPS. They can spot submarines or hidden bunkers by feeling tiny shifts in gravity or magnetism. China’s wiring whole cities with quantum networks. Russia’s got comms that can pierce stealth tech. These are real, tested, and ready.

—> HACKING THE FUTURE: Quantum computers could soon smash through encryption, exposing top-secret codes. They’re not perfect yet, but they’re close—too close for comfort.

TIME TRAVEL

🧠 💻 TIME MIRRORS: COOL SCIENCE THAT COULD CHANGE TECH! Imagine you’re playing a video game, and you could rewind a move before you even made it. Scientists at a college in New York (CUNY) did something like that with energy waves. They made a device that flips energy backward in time. It’s not time travel like in movies, but it’s super exciting and could make our gadgets way better.

—> WHAT DID THEY DO? They built a special material with tiny electronic switches, kind of like buttons on a remote. When they send electricity through it, the energy wave doesn’t just bounce back — it acts like it’s moving backward in time, like rewinding a TikTok video in real life.

—> WHY YOU CARE? Right now, when you send a text or stream a video, the signal can get fuzzy or lost, especially if it’s going far. This “time mirror” could fix that by keeping signals super clear. That means: faster internet and games with no lag.

—> WHAT’S THIS ABOUT OUR BRAINS? Some scientists think our brains have special cells called “time cells.” These help us remember things in order, like replaying a day at school in your head. It’s not the same as the time mirror, but it’s cool because it’s like our brains already know how to “rewind” memories to help us learn and plan.

🧠 WHEN PANIC HITS LIKE A HEART ATTACK. New research from Australia shows young men are calling ambulances for anxiety — because they think they’re dying. The symptoms? Racing heart, numbness, breathlessness. Classic panic. But to them, it feels fatal.

—> 🚑 AMBULANCES, NOT THERAPISTS: In a study of 694 cases, most of these men hadn’t seen a doctor. Anxiety wasn’t on their radar.

—> 👀 NO ROLE MODELS, NO LANGUAGE: For a lot of guys, anxiety doesn’t look like fear — it looks like weakness. And when no one around you talks about it, you don’t either. You wait. You wait too long.

—> 🔁 THE LOOP: This isn’t just about stigma. It’s about recognition. If you think panic means you’re dying, you call 911 — not a shrink. That’s a signal the mental health conversation still has a blind spot.

ONE MORE THING

KEV READS: WARHOL’S MUSES —> We had the chance to sit down with author Laurence Leamer over lunch at Café Milano — hosted by owner Franco Nuschese and Hollywood on the Potomac’s Janet Donovan — and talk not just about his brilliant new book Warhol’s Muses, but about what it means now. About how Andy Warhol wasn’t just painting soup cans—he was building the prototype for the algorithm.

Our full review here.

Warhol didn’t just make art. He made content. He made fame. He turned people into product — packaged, polished, and left behind. And Leamer’s new book puts that under the microscope, exposing the original influencer economy for what it was: messy, raw, and exploitative. Read this book!

With gratitude,

Kev
