Neuralink just filed trademark applications for “Telepathy,” “Telekinesis,” and “Blindsight” — hinting at a future where you control tech with your mind, restore sight to the blind, and maybe even send thoughts directly to other people.
—> WHAT IT DOES: Neuralink’s first product, Telepathy, lets users move a computer cursor using only their thoughts. Their test subject? A 29-year-old quadriplegic who now plays chess and video games hands-free. Two more people have since received implants.
—> WHAT’S NEXT: Blindsight aims to restore vision by stimulating the brain’s visual cortex — even for people born blind. Musk says it’ll start with “Atari graphics” but could evolve into superhuman sight: night vision, UV, maybe even radar.

—> WHEN TO WATCH: Tonight (Mon into Tues morning) — best viewing from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. local time. Expect up to 5 meteors per hour under dark skies.
—> WHERE TO LOOK: Anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, ideally far from city lights. Just lie back, let your eyes adjust for 30 mins, and look up and away from your phone.
